Last updated 28 May 2026. Boldtura Plumbing & Construction Sdn Bhd (registration 1605482-K) is the data controller for personal information collected through boldtura.bond and during our service engagements.

What we collect, and why

We only collect what we need to do plumbing or waterproofing work for you.

• Contact details. Name, mobile number, email, and the suburb you’re in. We need these to call you back, schedule visits and send the quote.
• Job brief. What you describe in the form or over WhatsApp, including photos or videos. We use this to scope the work.
• Site information. Once we visit, we may take photos of the work area before, during and after the job. These help with warranty cases and for our own records.
• Invoicing details. Billing name, address and SST number where applicable.

How we use the information

We use what you give us only for the following purposes:

• To reply to your enquiry and coordinate the work.
• To produce quotes, invoices and warranty documentation.
• To follow up after the job to check it’s holding up.
• Occasionally, to refer back to a previous job when you call us about a new one.

We do not sell your details to anyone, anywhere. We do not use your data for advertising.

Who we share information with

Only as required to do the work or to comply with the law:

• Sub-contracted electricians, tilers and waterproofers where the job requires their input. We share only what they need to do their part.
• The relevant building management or strata office if access permits or works approvals are required.
• Government bodies such as SPAN, IWK or local councils where the work needs official sign-off.
• Our accountant and tax filings, as required by Malaysian tax law.

How long we keep it

Quote records, invoices and warranty paperwork are kept for seven years for tax and warranty purposes. Job photographs are kept for a similar period, then archived offline. WhatsApp chats remain in the standard backup of the phone.

Your rights under PDPA

Under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that’s wrong.
• Ask us to delete information that’s no longer needed (subject to legal retention).
• Withdraw consent for any non-essential use of your data.

How we keep it safe

Workshop records are stored on a password-protected office laptop with full-disk encryption, backed up to a separate encrypted drive. The website is hosted on a shared hosting account with HTTPS and standard server hardening. Paper records (invoices, signed quote sheets) are kept in a locked cabinet at the Sentul workshop.

Children

Our services are intended for property owners and tenants and we don’t knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.

Updates to this policy

If we make material changes we’ll update the date at the top of this page. The current version of the policy is always the live one on the site.
